Whether he’s crafting code that makes someone’s workday just a little bit easier or pulling together business reports from complex databases, there’s something deeply satisfying about solving problems through automation. His toolkit includes software development, automation, and database management, skills he’s been honing since college when he first got captivated by technology’s endless evolution.
The lightbulb moment came early when he realized that every piece of code he wrote and every report he generated could genuinely improve someone else’s life, even in small ways. That feeling has carried him through some major milestones at Spakinect, including game-changing upgrades and EMR integrations that took the company to the next level. Knowing that his work directly improves efficiency and saves providers precious time makes every late-night debugging session worth it.
When he’s not deep in code or wrestling with databases, you’ll find him on a soccer field somewhere, kicking the ball around and clearing his head for whatever technical challenge comes next.
But don’t be fooled… she’s juggling employee relations, compliance with federal and state employment laws, full-cycle recruitment, HR audits, payroll management to keep Spakinect running smoothly. Her natural talent for people operations led her to earn her SHRM-CP certification and become the HR powerhouse who ensures every employee feels supported from day one through their entire journey with the company.
One of her standout accomplishments was spearheading Spakinect’s first-ever in-person company retreat, which was no small feat for a distributed remote workforce where most colleagues had never actually met face-to-face. Watching team members connect and bond in real life after working together virtually was exactly the kind of culture-building magic Amanda lives for.
This former UC Riverside soccer player graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Business Administration degree and still channels that competitive spirit into running along San Diego beaches, hiking and camping, playing soccer and beach volleyball with friends, and spending quality time with her family and her beloved dog, Cleo.
As a Board-Certified Emergency Physician, he expanded his practice into medical aesthetics and integrative medicine in 2014, recognizing the critical connection between emergency care and preventive health optimization.
His diverse portfolio spans telemedicine innovation, advanced weight management protocols, aesthetic medicine, and specialized veteran health assessments. Dr. Churukian shapes Spakinect’s clinical standards and safety protocols, ensuring every procedure meets the rigorous standards he’s upheld throughout his emergency medicine career.
His relentless focus on patient safety and service innovation drives our clinical excellence. Dr. Churukian actively transforms how we deliver care, making him an irreplaceable force behind our clinical success.
As Clinical Operations Manager, she’s a fierce advocate for her team of providers, helping them pursue their goals and improve their practice.
What’s beautiful about Mallory’s journey is how organically it unfolded. She started as a telehealth provider with dreams of growing within the company. She found herself gravitating toward the tech side while also stepping up as a shift lead to help teammates. The lightbulb moment came when she realized how much she loved connecting with her colleagues and advocating for them, turning that passion into her management philosophy.
Outside of her job, you’ll find her juggling life with her husband and five kids, exploring the great outdoors or sneaking away to wineries for some well-deserved adult time.
An inspiring nurse entrepreneur, she transformed a growing compliance gap in the med spa industry into a healthcare innovation. In 2012, she and her husband, Alain Gazaui, noticed a rise in enforcement actions against providers without proper GFEs and set out to build a model that protected both patients and providers, without slowing down business.
What began in California with three employees has grown into an enterprise that employs 50+ professionals and serves more than 4,000 medical spas across the U.S. – all without outside investment. As the original innovator in this space, Spakinect remains the industry leader in the model it created.
Paulina brings more than a decade of experience developing clinical operations protocols and training medical providers. Her expertise has influenced state-level legislation within the med spa industry, and she has shared her insights on leading podcasts including Legal 123s with ByrdAdatto and Spa Marketing Made Easy. She also founded the National Med Spa Society, a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for patient rights in aesthetics.
Paulina and her growing family call Durham, North Carolina home. When she’s not running Spakinect, she can be found salsa dancing or perfecting her cinnamon roll recipe.
As Director of Clinical Operations, she keeps our national provider network running smoothly, builds strategic partnerships that move the industry forward, and partners across teams to turn compliance from a headache into a smart, scalable advantage.
With a background that spans oncology, end-of-life care, medical weight loss, and aesthetics, Sarah brings a deep clinical perspective to every conversation. Add to that her experience as a Naval Officer, and you get someone who leads with precision and purpose.
Her proudest accomplishment? Earning the unofficial title of “SOP Queen” after building our entire library of clinical standard operating procedures from scratch. That foundation now supports thousands of providers and safeguards care for patients nationwide.
To Sarah, clinical operations is about protecting patients and elevating aesthetic medicine as a respected medical field. Off the clock, she’s a DIY enthusiast, fiercely loyal Minnesota sports fan, and proud nutcracker collector.
As both a Client Relationship Executive and Sales Team Manager, he’s discovered that while sales might grab the spotlight, it’s the relationship side where the real magic happens – where trust is built and business actually grows. Something he considers one of his proudest achievements is building a sales culture where his team genuinely cares about each other as people.
When he’s not guiding clients through their telehealth journey or coaching his team, you’ll find him on the golf course, enjoying family dinners, or doing something that might surprise you… cleaning. There’s something about bringing order to chaos that keeps his mind sharp and ready for whatever challenge comes next.
As Operations Manager, she makes sure our platform runs smoothly, our providers have the right tools to do their jobs, and our clients get answers when they need them. She oversees licensing and compliance across state lines and coordinates supervising physicians.. Think of her as the team’s octopus – with hands in every department to keep things moving.
With a background in healthcare administration and a knack for customer service, Camille blends deep knowledge of licensing and compliance with a mastery of Spakinect’s platform. She knows its ins and outs better than anyone, making her the go-to for both providers and teammates who need support.
For Camille, operations is about making sure every provider, client, and patient feels supported. She also revels in making compliance and technology feel seamless instead of stressful.
Outside of work, you’ll almost always find her with a book in hand. Camille reads over 100 books a year across every genre and recently helped start Spakinect’s internal book club. When she’s not reading, she’s hiking, paddle boarding, or baking, with everything from muffins to her best friend’s wedding cake on her résumé.
She works directly with our clients to tackle one of their biggest headaches: staying compliant. As a Client Solutions Specialist, she’s constantly working behind the scenes to ensure our client’s patients and businesses stay safe and workflows run like clockwork. Her sweet spot is diving deep into each clinic’s operations, providing hands-on training, mapping out treatments and finding those workflow inefficiencies that are quietly costing time and money.
Kathleen’s biggest win so far has been signing a multi-location franchise across various states – it helped her realize just how much value even the biggest players see in Spakinect’s services.
When she’s not working you might catch her drawing on her past life as an NBA dancer, teaching dance, or indulging in her current obsessions: yoga, Pilates, travel, reading, and her newest challenge of learning to crochet.
As Operations Support Specialist, she makes sure providers, clients, and patients feel cared for at every step – whether that means helping patients navigate their telehealth appointments or smoothing out the details behind the scenes so everything flows without friction.
With a background in counseling, social work, healthcare support, and operations, Amber blends communication, organization, and problem-solving with patience and compassion. She sees the bigger picture while never losing sight of the details that keep people supported.
Her proudest moments? The times she’s been able to offer an extra layer of connection to patients preparing for treatment. She loves helping them feel comfortable and confident before handing them off to the Med Spa partners who deliver the transformation.
Amber joined Spakinect in 2025 and brings her Florida warmth to the team from her home along the Southwest coast. Off the clock, she’s a portrait photographer, songwriter, cook, and devoted family-time enthusiast who’s happiest when she’s learning, building, and creating.
As a Client Solutions Specialist at Spakinect, Darren helps med spa owners get set up for success. Whether he’s walking clients through our platform, troubleshooting a challenge, or mapping out a smarter path forward, he’s there to make things simpler and smoother.
While his role sits in sales, Darren sees it as something much bigger: a chance to build lasting relationships and become a trusted partner clients can count on long after the first call. He brings deep operational knowledge, a calm presence, and an unwavering commitment to helping people feel supported.
Darren’s standout moment? Helping a multi-location med spa transition fully into our system. The gratitude that followed confirmed what he already knew: this is where he’s meant to be.
Off the clock, you’ll find him with his family on the farm, caring for animals and fixing things with the same attention and heart he brings to his work.
With over a decade in healthcare and five years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, her background has given her a broad clinical foundation and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and settings. Her superpower lies in making things work better, but what really drives her is balancing what’s best for both her team and their clients.
Her journey to Spakinect started as she was preparing for a move to Okinawa, Japan. A friend mentioned another nurse practitioner making the same move who worked for a company called Spakinect. Soon after joining, she realized that she’d found her place.
When she’s not ensuring safety-first patient care or mentoring providers, you’ll find her crushing it at CrossFit or keeping up with her three kids, Shepherd, Eloise, and Amelie..
She juggles everything from scheduling and billing to budgeting and compliance like it’s an art form. Erin’s world is all about cross-functional problem-solving. She prides herself in keeping licensing expansions smooth, client relationships strong and provider workflows humming like a well-oiled machine. She’s basically the operational backbone who turns numbers into strategies that actually support both the business and the people who make it run.
What’s wild about Erin’s journey is that she never went looking for this role, but somehow life dropped the perfect opportunity right in her lap. Luckily she had the wisdom to grab it because she landed exactly where she was meant to be. On the weekends you’ll find her living her best outdoor life with family and friends, hiking mountain trails, biking through scenic routes, camping under the stars or cruising the lake on their boat.
And honestly, she gets it because no two days look remotely the same. One morning she might be knee-deep in marketing mechanics with the Ops and Dev teams, and by afternoon she’s redesigning organizational workflows with the Clinical crew. She’s basically the conductor of a very complex orchestra, making sure every single team at Spakinect is playing the same song and building to the same crescendo.
Her superpower comes from years of program management experience in tech companies, where she learned how to control a firehose of moving parts. A lucky family introduction landed her at Spakinect, where she’s been able to flex those skills on projects that matter.
Her biggest win so far has been launching their new client platform, a massive undertaking that puts Spakinect in the driver’s seat of their own future and gives them the flexibility to evolve with the needs of our clients and the industry as a whole.
In 2012, he and his wife, Paulina Riedler, RN, recognized that medical spas were facing increasing compliance risks around GFEs and built a model that would protect both providers and patients without slowing down business.
With more than two decades of experience in building and scaling companies, Alain combines vision with execution. Under his leadership, what began as a three-person startup in California has grown into a national enterprise that employs 50+ professionals and supports more than 4,000 medical spas across the U.S.
Known for his ability to spot industry shifts early and align strategy with long-term growth, Alain helped shape Spakinect into the original innovator and ongoing leader in the field it created.
A proud father of two, Alain lives in Durham, North Carolina. Away from work, he can be found on the golf course or out sailing – both pastimes that reflect his focus, patience, and love of challenge.
